VACCINATIONS
Vaccinations are a critical part of preventive care for your animals.
EEE Eastern Equine Encephalitis and WNV West Nile Virus can cause neurologic symptoms and death in equines (horses, donkeys, mules) and humans alike. Vaccinating early in the spring and scheduling a booster is very important.
Symptoms of EEE and WNV in equines can include:
- appetite loss
- fever
- depression
- drooping eyelids
- twitching
- weakness
- paralysis
- circling
- wandering
- blindness
